Autumn Gillespie

DVM, CVSMT
Associate Veterinarian
Autumn Gillespie, DVM, CVSMT

Dr. Autumn Gillespie was born and raised in the cornfields of Central Illinois. And there she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After graduation, she worked at a mixed animal practice on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and then back home in Central Illinois.

Her passion for all animals was evident at a young age and has owned many, including pocket pets. As she grew so did her interest in the size of critters. During High School, Dr. Gillespie got her first horse and performed barrels and pole bending in the Illinois High School Rodeo Association. When her horse began decreasing in performance, she took him to an equine veterinarian certified in chiropractic medicine. At that time her eyes were opened to the power of chiropractic medicine and the benefits for animals. This led her to pursue her certification in veterinary spinal manipulation therapy (CVSMT) at Healing Oasis Animal Chiropractic School in 2017.

Dr. Gillespie currently has 6 critters which include: three cats Miss Kitty, Turbo, and Thomas O'Malley, two dogs; Russell terrier named Stanley and Olive, an 11-year-old, long-haired German Shepherd dog. Her largest fur kid is Sugar, a white 27-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse. Dr. Autumn Gillespie enjoys integrative medicine and is passionate about relieving pain in her patients. During her free time, she loves to work in the garden, restore antique furniture and, of course, go horseback riding.
