Meet Our Staff
Charly Kronberger , LVT, CVPM
Ms. Charly is a graduate of Texas A & M University and has a background that includes small animal medicine, emergency medicine, equine medicine, and veterinary management work, as well as cardiovascular research and a number of years as a technology capital equipment specialist. Ms. Charly has been a Texas Registered Veterinary Technician since 1990, and with recent Texas Legislative changes, she is now Licensed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Ms. Charly is passionate about her career in veterinary medicine and is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) by the Veterinary Hospital Manager’s Association. Born and raised in the Heights area of Houston, Ms. Charly and her husband now live on a small farm with horses, dogs, cats, and sheep. They have a daughter who is also an Aggie (WHOOP!) and works as a Veterinary Orthopedic Research Technician. Previously a competitive barrel racer, Ms. Charly now competes in Border Collie Sheep Dog Field Trials, enjoys healthy cooking, and all things outdoors.
Marlene Cowan, CVA I
Assistant Hospital Manager - Inventory
Marlene Cowan has been an employee of All Pets Animal Hospital for over 20 years! During that time she has worked as an Animal Care Technician, Veterinary Assistant, and Customer Service Representative. She is now enjoying her current position as Inventory Manager. When any item is low or out, Marlene’s the solution. Since joining the APAH24 staff years ago, a lot of exciting new changes have happened in her professional, as well as personal life. For one, Marlene has since become the proud grandmother of 5, and just recently gained a great-grandson. Two of Marlene’s favorite past-times are reading classic novels and assembling jigsaw puzzles. Marlene is always available when you need her! Is for that reason that she is one of our favorite gals!
Natalie Fisher, CVA II
Assistant Hospital Manager - Human Resources
Natalie began working for All Pets in June of 2011. She has worked in veterinary hospitals for over 11 years. She is from Katy and graduated from Taylor High School in 2001. Her pets include 2 rescue dogs Luna and Bandit.
During her off time Natalie enjoys staying home and spending time with her husband Chris and their son.
When at the clinic Natalie enjoys running all over the hospital putting out multiple fires, and she loves encouraging her employees to be their best selves.
Assistant Office Manager
Melissa was born in Houston and raised in Katy, Texas. A Katy High School graduate, she worked in child care for five years before coming to All Pets Animal Hospital. She has worked as a Customer Service Representative for All Pets since 2002 and manages accounts receivable and doctor scheduling, among many other tasks. Melissa shares her home with two dogs (Diago and Piper), a chihuahua and a terrier. Melissa enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends, going to the dog park, watching movies, and watching her favorite team the Houston Texans play.
Veronica Griffin, BS, CVA III
Veronica was born and raised outside of Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Texas in August 2012.
She started at All Pets in August 2013 as a technician, then became Inpatient Team Leader shortly after. In addition to patient care, her focus is training staff members on how to triage emergencies, take care of hospitalized pets, perform blood draws, and use in house diagnostic equipment….all in a quick and efficient manner. Every second counts! In early 2016, Veronica has led APAH24 into becoming Cat Friendly Practice Certified and training staff on new protocols including how to keep those angry kitties calm and a have nice, stress free vet visit.
Veronica has two cats named Daisy and Duke, a border collie named Pistol, a collie named Pete, and three chickens that were recently added to her clan. Her hobbies include camping, drawing, and spending time with her fiancé and pups. She also loves hockey (go Flyers!) and is a huge scary movie fanatic.
She loves the excitement and fast paced environment of working on the emergency team. There's always something new to learn from each and every case that comes in. She is happy to be a member of the APAH family!
Stacie Allen, AAS, LVT
Team Leader - In Patient
Stacie is one of All Pet’s licensed veterinary technicians. She is a native Houstonian and a very proud Texan. At first glance Stacie is a quiet and polite gal, but once you get to know her, she’ll show you her more delightful and easeful personality. The only thing Stacie loves more than her furry patients is her family. When she’s not at work saving lives, she’s at home catering to her family and extended family, which include her 3 dogs and 2 cats. In addition to her perfect job and family, Stacie is looking forward to a blissful life and settling down and starting a family of her own.
Sara Parks , CVA I
Team Leader - Out Patient
Sara was born and raised in Katy, Texas and graduated from Katy High School in 2003. She has been working in the veterinary field for almost 11 years, with an interest in exotic animal care and medicine. In her spare time, she bakes, scrapbooks, paints, plays the cello, and reads. Her pets include 9 snakes, an African fat-tailed gecko and 2 dogs. Since Sara has always had many different types animals, she is happy that she can now apply her skills professionally, especially with exotic pets, at an animal hospital with great quality pet care.
Victoria Maldonado, AAS, LVT
Team Leader - Surgery
Victoria has worked at All Pets since 2015. She has lived in Houston for 10 years. She is very focused and determined; qualities that make her a good leader here at the clinic. Victoria is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and is actively pursuing her specialty training in anesthesia. She enjoys working at All Pets because of the multiple windows of opportunity to learn something new. She hopes to also return to school and complete a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology.
Her family includes her pomeranian, Bella, and her son Gabriel. She enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, and listening to music.
Tara Tillery, CVA III
Team Leader - Emergency
Having lived in Texas most of her life, Tara, CVA III started at All Pets in March 2012. She has worked for two other animal clinics since 2002 and says each one has allowed her to grow professionally. APAH24 has even more to offer her career and offers a place to learn and grow as a technician. She serves as the Emergency Team Leader, Safety Manager and as a lead technician who cares for patients with emergencies, hospitalized patients, and patients in surgery. Tara is a Certified Veterinary Assistant (level three), certified as a veterinary dental technician, as well as in CPR, first aid, and gas sterilization. She was a nutritional counselor at her last clinic, was a master groomer, and has attended several CE seminars including emergency & critical care, dentistry, nutrition, parasite control, canine and feline behavior, among many more! Tara is experienced in large, small, and exotic pets. Currently, she is continuing her education to achieve a degree in Veterinary Technology and become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Once she has completed her LVT, she will study to become a Veterinary Technician Specialist in emergency and critical care. She loves the way the staff at All Pets cares for patients and are eager to help and further their knowledge to provide even better care. Tara has a variety of animals including; a dog, four cats, a parrot, a tortoise, a horse and a snake. She obviously loves animals. Tara enjoys spending time at the family ranch and on the beach with her family (four kids, husband, dad, & sister). She enjoys riding her horse and caring for animals, singing, tattoos and drawing.
Patty Castillo , AS
Team Leader - Animal Care Advocate
Patty is originally from Long Island, New York, and has lived in Texas since 2005. Patty obtained a business degree before coming to work at All Pets Animal Hospital. She has been a loyal employee since 2008 and loves that her job allows her to spend time with animals. In her spare time, Patty enjoys traveling and spending time with her son and family. She shares her home with four dogs (Bandit, Molly, Maggie, and Oscar) all of whom are rescues. Patty's ultimate goal is to own a farm where she can care for rescued animals.
Stephanie Cowan, CVA III
Team Leader - Rehabilitation & Fitness
Stephanie joined our team with 23 years of experience in veterinary medicine . . . with the most recent 11 years leading the technician team of a large emergency hospital. Stephanie has completed all of her educational requirements, and will soon sit for her licensing board examinations. She is a self-proclaimed CE "addict" is enjoys learning new things every day. Stephanie has an 11 year old bull terrier named Piper and 7 year old American Bulldog named Capone. After achieving her LVT status, she plans to complete her Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology and pursue a technician specialty license as well.
Jessica Ruland, AS
Assistant Team Leader - Animal Care Advocate
Jessica Ruland was born in New York and raised in a small town in Tennessee. She has lived in Katy for 7 years now. Jessica is ambitious, dedicated and strong-willed. She will be graduating from the University of Houston in December with a BS in Political Science. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Golden Key International Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Phi Kappa Phi.
Jessica's family includes her significant other, Loren, and her golden Labrador, Sunny, her 7 year old service dog. Jessica loves watching old movies, reading, relaxing with her family and friends, and drinking wine.
She loves to work with animals, because they "speak the best kind of language, adn they are the best kind of friends. They make me a better person all around because they are loyal, true, and the love they give has no conditions." Jessica loves seeing her regulars come in, they make her day better. She also loves the fast-paced environment that comes with working emergency shifts.
Jessica's dream is to attend law school starting in the Fall of 2018, with a focus on animal welfare law, as well as civil rights law and criminal law. After she gets her dream job, she hopes to buy a house with a wrap-around porch and rescue all the unwanted and abused animals.
Team Leader - Customer Service
Roni has enjoyed working in the veterinary world for over 15 years. Her outgoing personality makes her feel right at home with clients and their furry babies. Roni feels like clients are really more than “just clients,” . . . that they become family and friends. Roni truly values all the client relationships she has built throughout the years. She feels there is an unspoken bond between people and the pets that they love.
Roni shares her love of life with her husband, Jamie and their 9 year old son, Branden. There’s no downtime in the Mendoza household . . . Their days off are spent together having fun and living life to its fullest....happy, healthy and active!
The Mendoza’s active lifestyle also includes fur-babies. They share their home with "Joy" a 14 year old Chow-Catahoula Leopard mix, who, to this day keeps Roni's pace up on their morning runs, and is Branden’s absolute best friend. But the ones who really run the house are their 2 cats! Roni's official first baby "Kid" is a 15yr orange tabby, who is definitely considered King Tut of the house. "Motorboat" a 12yr old brown tabby follows her husband and “Joy” around like a little lost puppy.
Roni's “No Fear” attitude and energy bring life to any environment she is put in. Roni is super excited to be a part of the APAH24 Team and is eager to form new relationships with the staff, clients and their babies.
Client Service Representative
McKayla has grown up around animals all her life, thanks to her mom, who manages a clinic in Kingsville, TX. Her home growing up was referred to as the "Bobbitt Zoo" with 6 dogs, 3 cats, show lambs, a parrot, and a bearded dragon.
When McKayla's not tending to her own furry baby, Dexter, you can bet she's probably doing yoga or out country dancing. McKayla attends Houston Baptist University, where she is an active member of her sorority, Phi Mu. As she patiently awaits graduation in 2018 with a degree in elementary education, she hopes to gain more experience in the veterinary field.
McKayla is one of All Pet's most personable receptionists, her vivacious personality makes her a client favorite
Jessica Garcia comes from an El Salvadorian background but was born and raised in Houston, TX. She has lived in Mission Bend for over 15 years now. She loves working at All Pets because everyone is so nice and helpful! Jessica is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish, which is a huge help here at the clinic.
She is friendly, caring, and helpful, and her favorite things to do include dancing, coloring, reading, and playing with her daughter and nephew. She LOVES family time. Her future goals including going back to school, getting married, and having more kids!
Jessica loves animals because they are so loving and caring. Growing up she always had pets, and hated seeing them sick, so helping animals makes her feel good.
Fara Garcia-Gonzalez, CVA I
Fara is a Customer Service Representative here at All Pets . She was born in Cuba and raised in Texas. She has a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston and has been a Certified Veterinary Assistant since 2006. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her husband, son , and daughter along with her pet birds and new puppy. She loves traveling , outdoor activities, and music. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2009 and looks forward to achieving the next levels of veterinary certifications and continuing to provide wonderful client service.
Jamie is originally from Tampa, Florida, and has lived in Katy for 1 year. She describes herself as creative, ambitious, and passionate.
Her family includes her brother, aunt, grandfather, and her boyfriend's family. She currently does not have any pets but is a huge cat person. Jamie loves to cook, travel, and read.
She loves All Pets because of the professionalism of the team, the compassion of the staff, and she wants to speak for animals who are sick.
Kristen Jones , AS, BS
Digital Marketing Manager
K.J. is from Sugarland, TX and has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the University of Houston. She worked for years in the oil and gas industry, but has decided to make a career change and is currently pursuing a career as a Licenced Veterinary Technician.
She loves the variety of clients and the fast paced atmosphere here at All Pets. K.J. is eager to provide great customer service and guest happiness. She also combines her love for pets and marketing by managing the APAH webpage and Facebook.
Her family consists of her St. Bernard, Calamity, her Chihuahua Nixon and her cats: Carrie, Daisy and Munchkin. She enjoys reading, traveling in her RV and spending time with her friends.
Brittany was born in Canada but moved to the US when she was 6 years old. She has lived in New Orleans, Mississippi, and finally Katy. She describes herself as optimistic, compassionate, and bubbly. She loves working at All Pets because we are surrounded by all types of animals and she hopes to learn.
Brittany is a junior at Sam Houston State University, studying pre-veterinary medicine. Her family includes her mother, father, sister and her three fur babies. She loves to swim, scrapbook, Netflix and chill, cook, and bake. Brittany wants to become a veterinarian and work in a zoo or hospital.

Maria was born in Colombia and moved to Katy when she was 7 years old. Her family has since moved to Fulshear. Her family includes her brother, sister, mother and father. Her fur family consists of Charlie, a 5 year old Terrier/Basenji Mix with an adorable underbite!
She enjoys going on long runs/walks with Charlie, being outdoors, traveling around the world, reading, painting and working out. Maria has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and is a Level 1 Certified Veterinary Assistant.
Her goal is to apply for veterinary school in the next few years and complete all levels of her CVA.
Jackie Berrios, CVA I
Jackie has been with All Pets since August 2012. She has lived in Katy her whole life and enjoys it very much. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant. During her free time she enjoys cooking working out, watching movies and spending time with her boyfriend David Montoya, their son Vincent. and their Teacup Chihuahua Jasmin. Jackie went to Katy High School and earned her CVA I while working here at All Pets and is currently working on getting the rest of her CVA levels.
Stephanie is from Houston, but has lived in Richmond for the past 10 years. She is outgoing, adventurous, and artistic! Her family includes her father, mother, little brother, and her longtime boyfriend. Her fur family includes her 3 year old American Bully named Bronson, and her 5 year old English Bulldog named Thor.
Stephanie has her Associates Degree in Science and a CVA certification from Pima Medical Institute. Her goal is to finish her LVT and get a job at a zoo so she can work with large animals. Her hobbies include traveling state to state with her boyfriend, playing basketball, weight lifting, painting, music and dance.
She loves working at All Pets because the staff is fun, helpful and the clients are great to work with!
Clayton Falk, AS, BS, CVA I
Clayton is originally from Idaho, but has moved to Houston recently. He has 12 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic setting. He has become a wonderful addition to our nighttime ER team.
Clayton has many pets, including his Pit/Lab Mix Ty, his cat, Echo, Gold & Blue Macaw, Kealoha, and his 4 Leopard Geckos, Surge, Dot, Mango & Smores. His hobbies include American kenpo karate, P.P.C.T, shooting distance and pistol, PC Gaming, and Avian Behavior and Flight Recall Training.
He enjoys APAH because he is in love with Animal Behavior & Training. He enjoys the staff here because he believes everyone is passionate and willing to learn on a daily basis.
Clayton plans to eventually finish his BS in Nursing (human field) and continue on to his MSA in Anesthesiology.
Caitlyn Francis, CVA II
Caitlyn is a Certified Veterinary Assistant Level 2. We all love her for her compassionate, fun-loving, and motivated personality. Caitlyn is from Pearland originally, but moved to the Richmond/Katy area in 2015.
Caitlyn's family includes her mom, dad, sister, half-brother, and her two new crazy kittens named Mischief and Mayhem. She is currently working on achieving her CVA Level 3 and then hopes to move on to her LVT. She orgininally started school for Medical Administration, but her true passion drove her to change it up and work with animals.
In her free time Caitlyn enjoys crafting, especially painting. She loves the kindness she finds at All Pets and she loves constantly learning.
Vickie Goston, CVA I
Vickie was Born in Houston Texas and was raised in Orange, NJ. She moved back to her roots and has lived in Houston for 20 years. She enjoys spending time with her children and extended family. Her hobbies include Crocheting, spending time at the YMCA and being an active member in her church community for the past 10 years. Vickie has been in the veterinary field for over 15 years. She started her career as Animal care technician and has worked her way up as an Veterinary Assistant. Vickie is working on becoming a Certified Veterinary Assistant.
Allison Maddox, BS, CVA I
Allison is an Native Texan from Houston. She received a Bachelors in Animal Science from Texas A&M in 1982 and an AAS in Veterinary Technology from Vet Tech Institute in 2012. Allison enjoys spending time with her Two Children, Her daughter Sean and her son Michael. She also enjoys spending time with her two Calico cats Laverne and Shirley. Her hobbies include playing video games with her son on her PS4, scrap booking and reading. When Allison was younger she worked cattle with her father. She has also owned two horses, many dogs and her two cats. While attending VTI, she completed her internship at an equine clinic. Her future goal is to become an Licensed Veterinary Technician.
Alison currently lives in Katy with her husband Pierce and their two dogs Luca and Hagrid. She is originally from Kingwood, TX, but moved to Katy 3 years ago. Alison has an Associates Degree in Health and Medical Science, and is a Certified Vet Assistant through Pima Medical Institute. She loves All Pets because we treat such a wide variety of pets and we do 24 hour Emergency Care so we are always available to help.
Her hobbies include watching movies, reading, hanging with her family, trying new restaurants, snorkeling and traveling. Alison's future goals are to finish her LVT program, pass her boards, start a family with her husband, and have ALL the puppies! She would also like to spend some time traveling the world.
Courtney Meyers, BS, CVA I
Courtney is originally from outside Chicago, Rockford, IL. and recently moved to Houston Texas in June 2016. Courtney is very active and athletic. She loves soccer, biking and tennis. Other things she enjoys are nature, live music and drawing. Courtney holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology and she is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her previous history working with animals includes an Internship through Northern IL University at Summerfield Zoo working and caring for exotics and public education encounters. Her family consists of her wife Jessica and her son Noah, along with her Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Safari. Courtney hopes to become an LVT and increase her animal handling experience while working as an inpatient technician at All Pets.
Esperansa Avila, AAS
Esperanza is originally from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, but currently resides in Cypress, TX. Her family includes her mother, 3 brothers, and a sister. She currently has no pets, but dreams of one day having a pet cow.
Her hobbies include work, hiking, and running. She also is a very talented clarinet player!
She loves working at All Pets because she enjoys the vast majority of cute, exotic pets we work with. She also loves to learn on our high tech equipment. In the future Esperanza hopes to study psychology and take her degree back with her to work in Mexico.
Trey is a seasonal Veterinary Assistant who is currently in his sophomore year in Pre-Veterinary studies at LSU. He is from Katy, TX, and when he is home from college he enjoys spending time with his parents, two brothers, and Prince, his pet Coon-Hound.
Trey is a favorite here at All Pets, both with staff and clients, for his outgoing, funny, energetic personality. Ever since he was a kid he has loved and wanted to take care of animals. He loves honing his skills at All Pets and his favorite part about working here is meeting the variety of new clients and their pets, He utilizes what he learns here back in vet school in Louisiana. Trey would like eveyone to know that he is super friendly and if you see him out and about in Katy, please don't hesitate to say hello! He also says......Geaux Tigers!
Trey wants to get his DVM, and then come back here to Katy to be one of our Vets at All Pets. We can't wait!
Taylor grew up in a military family which meant she moved every few years. As a family who loved animals, their pets always traveled with them, which made for some adventurous road trips. As a child Taylor brought home stray and homeless pets and this lead to her decision to become a Veterinary Technician. She hopes to take her VTNE in July to become a fully Licensed LVT.
Het family includes her brother, mom, dad, and her 2 year old daughter, Winter. SHe also has a huge 200 lb. Saint Bernard and a Catahoula mix whom she rescued. Taylor loves spending time outdoors with her daughter.
Becca has been working at All Pets during the summer for two years now. She is attending Texas A&M University for Biomedical Sciences, and plans to go to vet school. Her family includes her parents, sister, and her dog, a chihuahua/pomeranian mix. She loves animals and medicine and likes working at All Pets because of the fast pace of the work we do here.
She describes herself as hardworking, organized and outgoing. She loves to shop, eat, sleep, and has been skydiving twice. Ultimately Becca would love to graduate vet school, come back to Katy, and open her own clinic.
Brittney Fields, AS
Brittney is from New Orleans, LA and has lived in Katy since 2009. She has an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and loves learning anything she can about animals. She choose All Pets because of our friendly staff and level of high quality care.
She doesn't have any pets yet but her human family consists of her mother, stepfather, and her twin sisters.
Brittney loves traveling, beaches, and movies. She also loves exercising, dancing, and motivating people. Her short term goal is to become a LVT and her long term goal is to become a veterinarian!

Kendra is currently working towards licensing for her LVT and her ultimate goal is to become a veterinarian! She was born and raised in Houston, but lives in the Katy/Fort Bend area now. Kendra is loyal, goal-oriented, and mature, which makes her an amazing asset here at All Pets.
Her family includes her parents, 4 brothers, 3 nephews, 1 niece and another on the way! The family also includes her 2 dogs, Max and Brad. Kendra loves to watch movies in her free time, and she loves to hike when the weather is good for it. She also likes to take fun quizzes and personality tests.
Kendra wants to work with animals because she thinks humans need to be a voice for all creatures who can not speak. She likes All Pets because we see such a variety of animals in one day, from puppies to pigs. She also enjoys the ER environment.
Penny Schneider, AS
Chelle Wunsch, BS
Equipment & Technology Manager
Chelle is a Native Texan and was raised in Dallas her whole life. She Graduated from Texas A&M at Galveston with a B.S. in Marine Biology. During her free time, Chelle enjoys spending time singing, reading, listening to music, camping, and video games. Chelle also enjoys volunteering her time at the Houston Zoo. In her future , Chelle would like to continue her education and eventually become a Licensed Veterinary Technician and gain more experience with exotics and exotic medicine.
Since the summer of 2011, Caytlin has been with APAH24 volunteering and interning. She began as a volunteer, but quickly earned her stripes and is now one of our veterinary interns. Caytlin is now officially an assistant. Caytlin is a giddy, spontaneous, and sociable young lady. She truly enjoys working at APAH24, and when she’s here she feels among friends. When there’s work to be done; whether it be cleaning, vacuuming, or re-stocking, Caytlin does not hesitate to lend a hand. Her passion and dedication showcase best when she’s doing her job. Conversely, Caytlin likes to indulge her creative side by painting ceramics at Brookwood Community. To unwind she prefers watching movies and hanging out with friends. She shares her home with her loving parents and one furry member of the family; her dog named Godiva. Although Delli and Hershey have recently crossed over the rainbow bridge, they are still dear and unforgetable in her heart. For Caytlin, animals have always had a special place in her heart, now she wants to give them back that unconditional love they’ve always shown her. Needless to say, we love Caytlin!
Animal Care Advocates
Yadira is one of our beloved animal care technicians that personally attend to our boarding pets. In just a few short months she has shown a real talent for making our furry friends feel right at home in our facility. Her 3 dogs named 2pac, beanie baby, and Issac have all received care at All Pets. The latest editions to her mammal family include two reptiles; a bearded dragon named Grimm, and a leopard gecko named Elliott. Aside from being talented at naming pets, Yadira is also very skilled in arts and crafts. She enjoys painting, scrap booking, and interior decorating. One of Yadira’s personal goals it to be able to provide more care for our hospitalized pets, and she is currently training to be a licensed veterinary technician in the near future.
Having joined All Pets Animal Hospital in July 2014, Ashley Whitlock grew up in Houston and Kentucky, but lived in New Jersey for two years as she attended the Washington Academy of Animal Arts. She acquired nine years of grooming experience before becoming All Pets' groomer, but she has worked with animals since she was sixteen in Kentucky and they had 12 black Labradors for hunting.
When not attending to the grooming needs of All Pets' clients, Ashley enjoys attending live shows/concerts, riding her bike, playing basketball, as well as traveling, hiking and baking. Her family includes Juno—a Jack Russell terrier—and Layla—a Lab mix.
